Another year our paper got published online right before AGU! We looked at the relationship between SAM, Southern Ocean zonal winds & SSTs, and found that the observed multidecadal Southern Ocean cooling trend is unlikely caused by the SAM trend. agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/20…

It should be noted, however, that large perturbations to ozone recovery can still arise from other forcings, such as wildfire aerosols and volcanic eruptions (e.g. @HungaTonga ). These forcings are still poorly represented in model projections.
