It does puzzle me why Hope not Hate are so focused on me and other Heathens. Perhaps it is just religious hatred for polytheists as is seen in the Bible? Lowles emailed me once attacking my use of holy pagan symbols on shirts.

Two themes in LOTR: Pagan and Christian. Pagan: competent, strong and noble king Aragorn works all his life to restore his kingdom and succeeds. Christian: dumb weak unstable dwarf is gaslighted to fight grotesque cartoonish "absolute evil".

I actually disagree. LOTR is a foundational christian subversion of norse epics at its core. It is a collection of Germano-Christian syncretists performing as a germanic epic Don't get me wrong, I like the story, but its a mutilated skinsuit of our ancestors worldview and values

@darwintojesus Lord of the Rings is the greatest story of all time because it's based on Norse Epics. Christianity was an afterthought for Tolkien - and was more fleshed out in the silmarillion. If it had no pagan elements, it would be a boring sermon disguised as a story - like Narnia.
