This will be my last post on this hellhole until musk sells it. I haven’t gone on this since Election Day. Fighting cancer was enough stress. I miss many of you, esp my medical colleagues (@AshleyGWinter where can I find you?). Hope we’re still around in 4 years.

@CheriJacobus I blame the media the most. No mention of trump's age once Biden out. No calling for him to be mentally tested. Sane washing everything he did. Speaking negatively about Harris. Out country may not make it to our 250 bday.

Thank the media for that. They reported how people felt about the economy, not what the economy was really doing. This helped Trump enormously.

@JlLunt @marklewismd Obviously not for a crohns patient. But if you tend towards constipation it helps the final prep get moving.

@galliummd @marklewismd Crohnie here. I've had more colonoscopies than I can count. No way. Absolutely NO WAY would I ever do Miralax for a week before.

Apropos of nothing but in case it helps, many say the prep for a colonoscopy is worse than the procedure itself

It literally blows me away that, at this moment, 10,000,000 Americans have voted for Trump, with many millions more to tally. How can anyone support such a disaster of a human being, let alone many millions? I will NEVER understand.

@galliummd @marklewismd In Spain a low fiber diet for 4 days prior is the standard, it actually improves bowel prep. If poor prep at previous following recs and/or if constipation, daily laxative for that week.

@beachworshipper @marklewismd I'm a primary care doc. I recommend colonoscopies to ALL my patients. I have had 2 myself. I have NEVER seen this diet recommended and have worked with several different GI groups. I think it is something that would make people less likely to comply.

@doxy_cycling @marklewismd No. This is their standard procedure and she believes it was the same 10 years ago. She's following the procedure but will ask them why!

@AshleyGWinter Chemo mouth and no alcohol due to liver effects means I can't even do chocolate! I can have one glass this coming weekend so hope to be able to celebrate then.

Pregnant with election anxiety is really annoying for this reason.

@marklewismd It's apparently the routine for her GI doc as her friend going thru also. It's hard enough getting people to do with a 1 day prep! She's going to question doc at procedure. I often tell patients to do Miralax for a week esp if they tend towards constipation.

Please understand that this platform is about to become the very least reliable source of information in the aggregate if Trump starts losing tomorrow. Coup Two requires people to feel "robbed" and Musk is going to go into overdrive making the MAGAs feel that.

@broadwaybabyto As a primary care doc, I get so frustrated hearing about these experiences. Since COVID, I hope all docs are more aware of POTS as it is so much more common now. Also, my kid’s BFF has it so it has made me more aware of this as a diagnosis. Doctors need to listen better!

This female voter was verbally attacked by four maniacal MAGA men on a mission. At a polling place in North Carolina, the Trump men first tried to force this woman to vote for Republicans. When that plan failed, the men began their bullying — slamming her with vicious verbal attacks, including that they want her to “bear a child, whether it’s at her will or not.” “Or not” means rape.
