A What I Really Like about 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim: The inefficient way of telling the story by breaking conversations up with moments of player controlling the character. Even though it takes longer than a full cutscene, it makes you feel more involved in the conversation.

A What I Really Like about NIKKE from the latest chapter: They really diligently tackled the idea of what makes a symbol of hope. It isn’t someone who just defeats the enemy, nor was it inherited by a predecessor. They really showed how this symbol was built from scratch.

NIKKE so far is the only story I've seen where the idol character's role as an idol is pivotal to the main crisis that the main characters tackle, as opposed to being a character that JUST HAPPENS to be an idol for quirkiness. Anis being the light of hope for everyone 💖

Shift Up adding a "Story" mode because they realized a lot of people wanna skip the gacha grind and just experience the writing should tell you a lot about this game.
Nikke is truly something special that should be experienced.
