Honestly not sure where the negative reaction is coming from. Almost every change in today's update is a player-side buff:
› Rogues take longer to spot you and react
› Knight can no longer clip through a door and delete you
› Black Division spreads out more in the engine room before spotting players, not after
› They throw flash and tear gas more often and they're easier to kill mid-throw
› Smokes cheese weren't touched at all.
Engine room should NOT be harder. We saw no increased difficulty during testing. But if for some reason it became harder, we'll revert the changes.

We have installed a technical update for #EscapefromTarkov. The game will not be stopped, but on updated servers, raid time may be reduced to 10 minutes. ● Increased the reaction time for Rogues to spot an enemy; ● Black Division will now spread out more evenly when moving towards players before spotting them in the engine room; ● The Wedge boss will now deploy more gas grenade tripwires; ● Black Division will now use grenades more frequently in the engine room and on the helipad; ● Fixed an issue where Knight boss could enter the deck through a door; ● Fixed an issue where Black Division would not move towards the player in the engine room and would remain stationary.

@domontovich With the time extended you can clear legit everything with ZERO SKIPS OR CHEESE and after looting the c-1 off the captian youd still have 15-20 mins left practice makes perfect but the people complaining dont have time to practice i guess.

Balancing changes have been made to #EscapefromTarkov:
● Decreased reaction speed for the boss Wedge and his guards;
● Increased bot detection speed on the Icebreaker;
● Added flashbang and gas grenades to the Black Division bot arsenal;
● Added additional Rogue spawn points on Icebreaker.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think the new parts are that good.
People were rightly up in arms last time about the earbuds because that was clearly p2w and crazy to lock behind arena, but everything I have seen so far is on par/similar to existing attachments.
Happy to be given a counter-example, but this full GRIDLOK thing is identical to the LVOA-C handguard, and the pistol grip is basically a Skeletonised Style 1 with +1 ergo and -0.3% recoil.
