@ayladottcom if it only had the minecraft instance running sure but i also have other apps running (the only thing i can use as a server rn so yeah) it can currently barely run 1.21.11 with a few qol mods added with 3ppl on max before the tps just dips and everyone times out every 20m

@gamingnoobdev depends on what you want out of it. 8gb ram puts in work for anything below like 12 players modded

i am gonna have to either use a vps, get an actual server (i doubt my laptop wannabe server is good enough for more than 3 people online at a time, esp with heavy modpacks), let a friend host it or some other hosting service
