Thanks to them, 9 of our members are now certified Emergency Oxygen Providers. GAMRU is constantly training so we can provide the best care for everyone.

Cold water can severely impact your ability to swim/stay afloat. (Even at its warmest, Lake Ontario is not that warm!) Hypothermia can start to set-in in as little as 5 minutes.

Engine kill switches have been a regular sight on vessels for the last 20 years. However, while popular, they are not required on most vessels. Transport Canada is now looking into the possibility of making them required for all new vessels.
