The 250-Bed Specialist Hospital in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta was envisioned as a modern facility to provide comprehensive specialist healthcare services for our people.

The newly completed Elega–Saje corridor is already improving mobility and boosting commerce, and we will be installing solar streetlights to further support businesses and security.

We also announced plans to commence the reconstruction of the Ago-Odo–Lafenwa Road, alongside a one-kilometre link road with a bridge to enhance access within the axis.

We have commissioned the 5.5-kilometre Elega–Miliki–Saje–Bode-Olude–Alhaji Sugar Road, reaffirming our commitment to improving connectivity and driving economic activities across Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South Local Government Areas.

We received the immediate past Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, in our office yesterday on a courtesy visit. We appreciate his time and continued commitment to the service of our nation, and we remain encouraged by the shared values of dedication and professionalism that strengthen our institutions.

We have reaffirmed our commitment to returning missionary schools in Ogun State to their original owners as part of our broader effort to strengthen partnerships in the education and health sectors. We made this known while receiving the Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria, Archbishop Michael Francis Crotty, alongside Catholic bishops and church leaders, where we emphasized that government cannot drive development alone. We recognize the vital role faith-based institutions continue to play in promoting education, healthcare, peace, and social stability, and we remain open to deeper collaboration with the Church. We also take pride in the religious harmony that defines our state and appreciate the continued support and prayers of the faithful, which have contributed to our administration’s successes. We joined our brother governor, Goverrnor Douye Diri, and other distinguished leaders in Bayelsa State as President @officialABAT, GCFR, commissioned key infrastructure projects, including a 60-megawatt gas-powered turbine and major road networks across the state. We commend Governor Douye Diri for his purposeful leadership and commitment to development, which continue to deliver tangible benefits to the people of Bayelsa State. These projects underscore the critical role of infrastructure, particularly power and road connectivity, in driving industrial growth, economic expansion, and improved livelihoods. We also align with Mr. President’s position on the need for stronger collaboration between the federal and state governments to accelerate national development. Together, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that will strengthen our economy, enhance security, and build a more prosperous Nigeria for all.

Today, at the statutory meeting of the Ogun State Council of Obas held at the Obas’ Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, we presented 40 brand-new SUVs to our revered traditional rulers in appreciation of their invaluable support and partnership in sustaining peace, stability, and development across Ogun State. As custodians of our culture and tradition, and as a vital bridge between government and the people, we remain committed to supporting our monarchs in the discharge of their responsibilities. We also used the occasion to urge our traditional rulers and communities to continue working with us in creating a peaceful, welcoming, and investor-friendly environment across all parts of the state. We made it clear that Ogun State cannot afford to discourage genuine investors whose presence will create jobs, drive infrastructure development, and improve the well-being of our people. BREAKING: Cargo operations have officially begun at Gateway International Airport in Ogun State

Yesterday, I had the honor and privilege to visit and thank the President, @officialABAT, GCFR, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic, for the historic visit to Ogun State to commission the Gateway International Airport, Gateway Airlines, welcome the first cargo airline, and other landmark projects. I presented him with a ceremonial sword in his esteemed capacity as the Jagaban (leader of warriors/conquerors), urging him to continue his war on crime and criminality, anti-corruption, and particularly as he embarks on the second-term re-election, assuring him that in Ogun State, we are solidly behind him.
