Celebrating a combined 55 years in education tonight with my wife at the Katy ISD Employee Service Awards. 20 years of service in Katy ISD for me (10 years from a prior district); 25 years in KISD for Judy!

Wow!! What a day for Katy ISD instrumental division. 29 students performed in 7 ensembles. Strings: Gold, Silver, Bronze medals go to Tompkins, Jordan , and Jordan respectively and Taylor Hs won the Silver in the Winds division. 4 of the 6 medals go to Katy ISD ensembles.
