The pricing strategy I used to grow Designjoy from $0 - $1.5 million with no audience: “Demand-based pricing.” Launched with prices so low I made you feel stupid for not trying it out. Only $449/m. Got a lot of “this sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?” Gained tons of exposure. People immediately began signing up. The more they did, the higher the price became. $449 ➡️ $849 ➡️ $1299 ➡️ $1599 ➡️ $1999 ➡️ $2499 ➡️ $2999 ➡️ $3499 ➡️ $5000 I never raised prices on past clients. Still have clients to this day paying $2499. If they cancel, they’ll lose it forever. So they probably never will, even if they’re barely using it. Pricing can be a powerful marketing strategy if you play your cards right.
