There was a discrepancy in blocking yesterday at rehearsal. The director asked me, “don’t you make an entrance here?” I said, “honey! I always make an entrance.” There was applause.

Of course DAYS after the board tells me this, he is reported AGAIN to the board for inappropriate contact with a minor in a rehearsal setting.

I raised a fuss at one local theater and the board pretended their hands were tied and they couldn’t ban a child predator from participating alongside actual children. Needless to say I do not work with that theater anymore.

There’s this guy who is a known groomer in my local theatre community and while some orgs have reasonably banned him from participating, others continue to contract him as a volunteer and an employee and every time his name appears on a poster or playbill I get SO MAD
