Can’t say a bad word about any of those players today. That includes Danso. Ran themselves in to the ground against the most in form team in the league. It’s incredibly brutal and it feels like I’ve just been punched in the stomach, but it’s given me some hope going in to the next 5 games. Whether that’s enough time to save ourselves, who knows. Soul-crushing end to the game but I’ll focus on the positives. This was a good performance for us. If De Zerbi can lift the groups spirits and make the good parts of this performance stick, we still have a chance to stay up. This is bad but for the first time I feel some hope.

@swedishfriend Their system only runs on their hardware. Most of their business is the various speakers and soundbars they sell, though they offer an amplified and non-amplified bridge. Ikea did have speakers that also worked with it but that relationship ended.

Sonos is like Bose of the 80s-90s millions have been normalized to over boosted muddy sound. Of course engineering for mp3 also figures in. Get a pair of powered speakers and hear sound

@sufferingspurs Fully with you on the positivity and that same thinking. It is the classic sports slump. The squad has to get that turning moment, and then build on it. Get their edge back. We have more quality than we have shown for many months. Though, I cannot say any team is too big to fail

For those questioning my positivity and optimism. I’m being positive because I want to be positive. Because I desperately want us to stay up. Because I will believe until it’s no longer possible that this nightmare will end before it’s too late. The alternative is to say it’s over already. To give up. To say the club deserves it. That the owners deserve it. That the players deserve it. I’ve even heard some say that the fans deserve it (somehow). I believe these players will find something in themselves to win one game, with the help of their new manager. I believe that win will have a ripple effect on the remaining games and that we will end up looking back on this season as a lesson learned that can never be allowed to happen again. Do I think we’re too big to go down? Yes. I do. Because we are. Tottenham Hotspur should not be playing football in the Championship. I implore you all to believe it won’t happen and not to give up while there’s still hope. Positivity breeds positivity. The same applies to negativity. We are going to get out of this. COYS

@simonyemane to be fair, his stated idea of being the team psychologist does make some sense. Right now this team is not going to win without getting its head back on to play through adversity. And yes, the officiating does look pretty dreadful. Out of our hands.

Robert De Zerbi mentioned two players as particularly important for him: Kudus and Romero. Both got long term injured in his first week in charge. Only at Spurs.

No matter where you land on De Zerbi’s comments on Greenwood, and if they should disqualify him for this job, one thing is clear: He will have to address them when he arrives. If not, they’ll act as a distraction, and stop large parts of the fanbase from ever getting on board.
