I didn't break the rules. I left my mum for months scared, lonely and getting weaker with cancer as her lungs failed her. She fell at home and spent all night on the floor cold and alone. She died without seeing her siblings. We couldn't have a wake. Meanwhile the tories partied.

A year ago today my mums diagnosis went from “it’s just a blood infection” to “sorry, we missed the cancer and she has a couple of weeks to live”. She died 3 weeks later. We hadn’t seen her for a year. Live life, tell people you love them, make the most of the time you have❤️🙏🏻
