@Boxhead_31 @timmyhodges If you re-watch this video, you’ll see I was talking about form during the “regular” season, vs form in finals, that was the analogy. Agree that other drivers are on track at the same time, I guess it’s up to the finals drivers whether they wish to engage in racing against them.

This is the system Supercars implemented.
Like footy codes - it is now two seasons in one.
One is to qualify for finals.
And then the finals.
And if you’re not good in finals, you can’t be the champion.

I am yet to work out what priorities car rental companies have in Australia, with regard to how they run their business.
