Yesterday @HALcruises #Oosterdam ran one of the line’s signature events: the Towel Animal Zoo on the pool deck. A gazillion (rough estimate) towel animals ranging from flannel sized mice to massive crocodiles. Of course, towel animal classics featured strongly too. #towelanimal

Today on #Oosterdam we were at the spectacular Brüggen Glacier (also known as the Pío XI Glacier). It is the largest glacier in South America, located in Chile’s Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. And uniquely it has been advancing and growing, unlike most glaciers worldwide!!

We had phenomenal bright and clear weather on Sunday as we cruised through the section of the Chilean Fjords known as “Glacier Alley” (although many prefer the more refined “Glacier Avenue” name!) on #oosterdam There are 5 spectacular #glaciers #ChileanFjords #chile

Today went to Bluff Cove on the Falkland Islands to see King and Gentoo penguins.There are just over 3,000 people living in the Falklands and estimated 1,000,000 penguins! Stunning! #penguins #falklandislands

One of my favourite places to visit in beautiful #Montevideo is the % #Carnival Museum. The city hosts what’s believed to be the longest Carnival in the world, running for about 40 days from late January into early March, and dates back to the 1700s! Would this appeal to you?
