A 2-1 scoreline that doesn’t tell the full story by any means. Down to 10 after 40 minutes and to 9 after 74. Managed to grab a goal back late on but despite a valiant effort we couldn’t come away with any points.

Overall a scoreline that most would probably agree with. A game of few chances and a 2nd half of cancelling each other out. Another positive step for us and positives to take into the next fixture. All the best to @The_Yachtsmen for the remainder of the season.

A valiant effort against the league leaders, as we played out 80 minutes with 10 men. It ended with 10v9 as Briggs was dismissed late in the game. Also have to say, superb hospitality and impressive set up at Maldon.
