@Keir_Starmer Keir, this very morning you are putting up vehicle excise duty, air passenger duty, landfill tax, aggregates tax, plastic packaging tax, the climate change levy and business rates. All of these tax hikes are increasing the cost of living. So stop claiming that you are cutting it.

John and I became mates at school in Port Talbot 50 years ago - and we met up at the Sand Rabbit on the seafront tonight for a few beers. We both joined the RAF in 1983 on the same day and at the same recruiting office in Swansea, and both of us swore allegiance to the crown standing next to each other. We had a drunken brawl on the pavement outside Tai Bach rugby club that very night and were given a clip around the ear and told to “fuck off home before I change my mind” by a passing copper when we pleaded with him not to arrest us as we had just joined up. We both left Port Talbot on the same train the next day and were given beds on basic training right next to each other. We even found out tonight that we lived in married quarters just 50 yards from each other in Elmpt, Germany in the Cold War at the same time, but never even knew it. Both of us served over 20 years and one of us had a stellar career.. the other became a rockape (it’s a shame I had to leave, I was starting to get the hang of it). We meet up every few years and the nice thing is, we never ask how the other is. We don’t have to. It’s not important. As ‘brothers’, we just slip into a comfortable chat about life and stuff, and reflect on exploits which grow more outrageous (and dubious) with the years. Fraternal bonds are measured, not by grandiose and extravagant gestures, but by the nonjudgemental passing of time and quiet under-estimation. And silly face contests.

My darling Dad (Harry) passed away last night at the age of 64. He was a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday fan and took me to my first match as a little girl and I was hooked. Sleep tight Dad, until we meet again 💔 #swfc @swfc #wawaw #glioblastoma #fuckcancer

April Fools stories for tomorrow. Prime Minister invites islamist terrorist to No.10. Zack Polanski invites more Muslims to join the Greens after he danced with a couple of bondage boys on stage. Government announce national Smart Phone digital ID system will be totally secure despite all of Morgans McSweeneys data disappearing after someone stole his phone. GP'S to be paid to NOT refer patients to hospital. Government Minister to tell drivers to use petrol price app to save 80p per week in fuel costs by driving to the next town to fill up. Imported coal and gas to be declared "clean" energy because it comes from somewhere else. Police will attempt to solve murder cases before they arrest people for calling someone a nasty name online. The PM will announce that allowing American bombers to be stationed in the UK to be loaded with 1,000 bombs, refuelled, maintained and the windscreen washer fluid topped up is "not getting involved in anything". Or am I too late?

It’s not “history”, Shabana. I’m from Telford. I was groomed and abused by different men from the age of 5. I’ve seen countless little girls victimised by Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs in my hometown. IT’S STILL GOING ON. I went on national TV to say that little girls are still being raped and tortured by Pakistani-Muslim gangs. The next day, the police came banging on my door to threaten me into silence for speaking out. Growing up, we knew which takeaways were dodgy, which taxi companies were controlled by the Pakistani-Muslim gangs, which estates and high streets not to walk through alone or avoid altogether. It’s an open secret. And your government is complicit. It is still happening in towns and cities across the UK. Little girls are being subjected to the worst abuse imaginable, at the hands of men who know they can get away with it. Nothing has changed. You are still turning a blind eye despite decades of undeniable evidence. Politicians like you are trying to sweep the scandal under the carpet, sabotaging the National Inquiry at every turn so that they can save their own skins. And little girls are still being sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism and traded for votes. Decades later. The same old story. You may not have shoved little girls into taxis or plied them with vapes himself, but you and your entire government are just as guilty as if you had. And I, for one, refuse to be silenced or placated by the very people who have spent decades discrediting victims and survivors like me.
Shabana Mahmood MP@ShabanaMahmood

The grooming gangs’ scandal is one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The independent national Inquiry will now begin its crucial work to uncover how these crimes were allowed to happen and root out failure wherever it occurred. There will be no hiding place for the predatory monsters who committed these vile crimes.

Mr Starmer, On this day, 31 March 2026, history will record your actions with clinical precision. There you stood in Downing Street, warmly shaking the hand of Ahmed al-Sharaa, the former commander of al-Qaeda’s Syrian franchise, architect of jihad, suicide bombings and the slaughter of innocents. The cameras captured every second of Britain’s latest act of surrender while you grinned like a gracious host receiving an honoured guest. Only weeks earlier, you declared Muslims the new face of England and allowed a known Palestinian terrorist to lean in and whisper instructions in your ear while you nodded obediently like the spineless puppet you are. You have destroyed relations with our greatest ally, Donald J. Trump. You have betrayed every oath you ever swore. You have handed this nation over to its enemies piece by piece while rewarding traitors like Sadiq Khan with peerages. You are not a Prime Minister. You are a traitor who has deliberately dismantled Britain from within. Your name will be remembered with nothing but contempt. Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

Keir Starmer has just SUSPENDED Karl Turner – the Labour MP who led the rebellion against David Lammy’s plan to RIP UP 800 years of jury trial rights. An elected MP punished for defending the public’s right to be judged by a jury of their peers. Turner didn’t find out from the Chief Whip. He found out when a Telegraph journalist rang him for comment. This isn’t “moderate” government. This is a paranoid little regime that: •Trashes a core constitutional safeguard to fix a backlog their own mismanagement created. •Smears anyone who objects as “irresponsible”. •Quietly kneecaps the one Labour MP who called it “unworkable, unpopular, unjust and unnecessary”. If they’ll punish their own MP for defending jury trials, what do you think they’ll do to ordinary dissenters?

A Mars Bar cost 28p in 2000. Today it's £1.05, and it's 18% smaller. Price up 275%. Size down 18%. Most people accept this as normal. It shouldn’t be.

You allowed an Afghan ‘asylum seeker’ to walk around the UK unchecked four months after arriving on a small boat from France . He then dragged a 12-year-old little girl out of a play park and raped her, laughing throughout whilst he filmed it. He then attempted to blame the victim in court, Subjecting her to cross examination by defence lawyers on top of the humiliation of an internal medical examination. We now have to feed and accommodate this parasite for 15 years before finally being able to deport him .This is your Britain . Don’t you dare speak about the national interest when little girls are paying the price for your policies. You truly disgust me.

Indiana, USA: Another massive solar farm has been reduced to a pile of toxic debris by... the weather. 😳 Imagine making the energy grids of advanced first world economies dependent on this inefficient, intermittent and fragile technology under the guise of solving a "climate crisis" that doesn't even exist. 🤡

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
It's 1976 and I'm 8 years old. It's that beautiful summer and the school holidays. I've made a makeshift tent in the garden from an old bed sheet and a few wooden poles. Dad has just finished his shift at the factory. He's worn out, but he comes into the garden to see my brother and me playing. We're eating cheese, tomato and salad cream sandwiches, made with Mothers Pride sliced bread, and drinking orange squash. The ice cream van will arrive at 4pm on the estate. Our garden is our world. All of the windows and doors are open in the house. The heat is stifling. Ladybirds roam free. Dad has fallen asleep on the sun bed. That tent would remain in place for weeks to come. These are childhood memories. We must hold on to them.
