@Tapas1776 Ukranians have tested this and found lead birdshot cannot reliably penetrate the carbon fiber and composite structure of modern drones reliably, which is why everyone is switching to tungsen BB's. The copper triplex rifle bullet, flying ~3x the speed of shotgunBB, will also work

@vbgamer17 @DoomerTapes Probably around 100 yards is where there would be enough spread to help statistical hit probability vs unitary, while still having some energy left with the subprojectiles. Just my gut take on it though, no data to support that.

@TheWesternBlue1 @2805662 That velocity estimate is with Tungsten; steel wont penetrate level IV at any sort of range until you get to .50ish. Level IV is incredibly robust - to say nothing of emerging Level V like the Adept Colosus, with some models stopping legacy M993 7.62 tungsten at 2750fps at 40'.

Finally finishing this up and they bring up handgun selection for students. No one is rocking an FN or HK handgun beyond strange outliers. I feel like this accurately reflects what I see at comps, it's mostly Glocks, CZ, Sig, and M&Ps.
