Countries with an established ICE based traditional Automotive production are the slowest to adapt EV given the incumbents stand to lose the most, whereas countries with no or low traditional Auto base and mostly dependent on imports are seeing rapid adoption of EV ..Case in point Nepal, Thailand etc. EV is taking over whether the incumbents in the west like it or not.

While it's tempting to conclude that deglobalization is accelerating, the evidence points the other way: globalization is surging outside the hegemonic powers. India-Europe trade ties and the Europe-Mercosur pact exemplify this shift. These are deals that were stuck for decades for a variety of reasons. True deglobalization remains impossible-key natural resources for modern manufacturing are scattered worldwide, making codependencies inevitable.
