Pokemon Champions has been amazing. I’ve dabbled in VGC before, but never like this past month. It’s the perfect mix of “fuck around, find out, learn, and adapt.” without the stress of crafting your pokemon meticulously. Excited for where this game goes next ✌🏽

One of my favorite things about Pokemon as a competitive game is the sheer amount of options it gives the player in teambuilding, so it may be surprising that I actually think the limited options Champions presents is actually a huge win in many ways

I need new players to understand that when somebody forfeits in pokemon champions its not a "rage quit". Sometimes it can be, but in a turn based game like pokemon youre just acknowledging that you dont have any outs and dont want to waste you or your opponents time.
