Sr. Gavyn Cothern, the most decorated athlete in the history of Olney Tiger T&F, has been “lying in the weeds”… but he announced his presence this week, hitting 6’5 in his first competitive HJ since last May, & yesterday dropping a new PB of 23’9 in the LJ. IL2A #2/IL #4/US #93

Last season we had some folks calling us “Long Jump County” thanks to two guys named Cothern and Hallam. They practiced every day in a pit that was essentially a pile of sand that flooded and washed away every time it rained. Next spring our kids will be practicing in this. ⚡️
