I think the sight of Musk at last night’s Nazi rally is probably the final straw for me. I won’t say I’ll never tweet again, but I’ll be over at the other place for the foreseeable - same username. 👋

@AaronBastani You know a large chunk of that would end up in the Portsmouth economy. We’re not literally sending them cash, we’re sending them defence equipment etc. And Portsmouth is chock full of defence companies.

I am from Bournemouth, and live in Portsmouth. £100 million would transform either. It would transform a medium sized city in the UK. 128 towns and cities could have been massively better places to work and live.

The UK has given Ukraine £12.8 billion since 2022. £12.8 billion to prolong a war, with hundreds of thousands dying, so Ukraine negotiates a deal regardless (or rather has one imposed on them). £12.8 billion so they could be in a worse position than two years ago. Utter madness.

@StevenKelly82 I think St Julian’s is nice but too far out of town. Town being Valletta. Either stay in Valletta or in Sliema right next to it - which has a ferry to Valletta every 20 mins.

Flights booked to Malta, just need to book the hotel. Where is best to stay? I’ve only heard of St Julian’s. Is that good?

@PengeSpenge I used to use one of those. I got much better coffee if I pre-boiled the water. Something about the time it takes to boil the water in the pot gets the metal so hot it burns the coffee.

@LeeButterley Yes Andor is phenomenal. The Mandalorian is good entertainment if a little basic. It’s also wildly popular. The 3rd series was the biggest streaming show worldwide last year on all platforms, so yeah that movie will get made.
