When our players aren’t fully at it — like they weren’t last night — the historical incompetence and squad neglect becomes glaring. You can’t help not being good enough. But if you want it less than the opposition, that lack of quality will be exposed. Relying on “wanting it more” every week isn’t sustainable in the long run. You need quality and nous as well.
