Van Jones: “If progressives have a politics that says all White people are racist, all men are toxic, and all billionaires are evil, it’s kinda hard to keep them on your side. If you’re chasing people out of the party, you can’t be mad when they leave.”

So the Arizona Cardinals were in on the following free agent quarterbacks: Kirk Cousins Malik Willis Jimmy Garoppolo Did all three simply reject them over money? Starting option?

NFL: 32 teams, a shared revenue system and 100% profitable. NCAA D1: 350+ programs, 6% have revenue exceeding expenses. The revenue gap between schools even within the highest resourced conferences is in the hundreds of millions. Collective bargaining isn’t the answer. Student-athletes aren’t employees.
Mit Winter@WinterSportsLaw

Transfer fees are another pro sports item many people are calling for in college athletics. The way you get these things in college athletics is by operating the way the NFL, NBA etc. do. By athletes being employees and collectively bargaining them. It’s not that scary.
