Cubatureis an independent puzzle game developed as an interactive system in which space reacts, evolves, and responds to the player's actions. In Berlin, the project takes the form of an exhibition - an immersive experience that translates the logic of the game into a spatial format. Visitors can enter the installation, interact with its structure, and experience how the system unfolds beyond the screen. At the core of the exhibition is a 1×1×1 cube - a spatial interface that records the participant's presence and transforms it into a collective digital image, drawing them into the visual structure of the Cubature world. The exhibition also includes a playable build of the game and artworks documenting the project's development at the intersection of scenography, image, digital environment, and music production. The project is presented at the Polish Institute in Berlin as part of A MAZE. / Berlin 2026 - 15th International Games and Playful Media Festival, where the creators of Cubature will also showcase the game at a dedicated Cubature booth, lead a talk titled "How to Make a Game from Wood," and run a Level Design Workshop. 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 The talk by @aggiepaints and Graham Mills. Almost everyone has a story about a manager who negatively impacted them, but why do there seem to be so many? In this talk, the speakers will offer some insights into why everyone has had THAT manager, and some suggestions as to how the next generation of developers can be protected from this experience. They will highlight some of the factors as to why there may be less than optimal managers and explore the negative and positive impact a manager can have on their people, the project, and the whole studio. But the session is not here to just highlight the problem; it brings a solution, too! In the latter part of the talk, the speakers will cover some of the work done at Sumo Group to help emerging leaders with the skills they'll need when they set off on their leadership journey.
