@ScouseRepublic Last game I went it was Man U home and it was like none I’d ever experienced. No tension in the air. No sense of battle or occassion. Felt like an event and a stale one at that. They say the game has gone and it has mate.

@gdlb81 Part of the reason I’ve jibbed the stalls this season, the feeling before games was lifeless. Just nothing about going offers enjoyment any more, it’s sad.

Nice one to everyone who has supported the business this season. Haven’t advertised that much or done many stalls, simply because I haven’t had the heart to. Like many, the reds make and break my weekends. I’ve felt weirdly disconnected this season, which has inevitably affected my output. Might sound like a bit of a cry ass but I’ve genuinely never felt so far away from the club/team/manager as I have this season, which is mad considering how last season went. I am working on a few new designs and have got stock on order to get back to doing the stalls, so i’ll be back to normal in no time! Til then, the website is still up and running and all orders are being processed as normal. Keep your eyes out for a few new bits coming out ✊🏼 Thanks again for all the support, it’s much appreciated. @SimonBrundish The atmosphere at anfield is awful and has been for a couple of years. Tourists, day trippers and an ageing Kop. I’ve stopped going regularly, because of the shit crowd I no longer enjoy it. That’s what English football is now. A middle class entertainment product

YNWA was the quietest in my time at Anfield They didn’t sing Fields of Anfield road until 54th minute and even then it was about 30 people Hugo was the only lad in the pitch they sang for without it being a reaction to a yellow The fact Scouser Tommy wasn’t sung shows the ratio of non regulars there 20 was the only time most people kinda opened their mouths

@downeytrev Atmosphere was horrendous. I blame an ageing Kop as much as hospitality, tourists and day trippers. I’m 44 and look around me and feel like I’m one of the youngest there. People on the Kop have a duty to sing and too many people there aren’t willing or capable.

You'd have to have been there to really know but television certainly suggested the atmosphere was pish yesterday for long spells. I generally put it down to quiet angst (how I often feel at a game) but I see many regular match-goers suggesting it might be tourist apathy.

Atmosphere at Anfield today was absolutely horrific. Half hearted or zero hearted even before kick off. If you can’t get up and make a noise for Man U at home then there’s no fucking hope left. #LFC

@ScouseRepublic Wembley is a tough place to get a good atmosphere going plus it’s only the charity shield, a friendly at the end of the day. I was surprised how few tourists and day trippers there seemed to be, in the bottom tier at least

A boss day out with the lads. Looked very good first half but the second half we were woeful. Taking Ekitike off was a mad one. The pens were shite and the atmosphere was even worse. Piss poor Liverpool end. All in all, the footy got in the way of a belter afternoon 😂👍🏼
