@HailMaryLogs Listen, an adaptation is an adaptation. That being said, if Rocky’s appearance in the movie isn’t a surprise (and based on all this, it isn’t), it’s almost certain to be a poor adapted storytelling choice. The moment in the book is a wonderful-yet tense- surprise
