We're looking forward to being part of @tsiMORAY's Meet the Funders event, taking place at Elgin Town Hall on November 17. This is a chance for local charities and community groups to learn more about funding opportunities available in the area. See below for details.

The Foundation recently supported the @RSNO with a travelling projector kit and it was a treat to see it in action at Forres Town Hall when the enchanting story of Yoyo and the Little Auk was performed so beautifully as part of @FindhornBayArts. A magical event for young and old.

Congratulations to the team at The Vinery in Banff on your opening. Aberdeen Foyer is providing training and therapeutic activities from this amazing community space and we're delighted to have supported them with some of the equipment for the community café and kitchen garden.

The Foundation recently supported the work of @OutfitMoray, which develops young people's potential by offering accessible, affordable outdoor learning. As well as mountain biking, they offer a range of adventures. They've packed in a lot this summer and there's lots more to come

Congratulations to the Methlick community for all the work involved in creating this multi-use games area, which will enable lots of sports while encouraging health and wellbeing for all. The Foundation was pleased to support this project and loved attending Sunday's opening.

We were thrilled to support the Moray Badge Platinum Jubilee initiative and a big 'well done' to the 5,500 young people from Moray and Banffshire who earned an award. Yesterday was a special day as Their Royal Highnesses presented awards to representatives from across the area.

A wonderful, sunny evening spent in Tarland for the official opening of their new community apiary - complete with educational hub. Congratulations to all the volunteers for their commitment and effort in creating this great community asset.

Thank you to Portgordon Community Trust for hosting me at the new Community Garden and for sharing plans for a new community hub. We look forward to following progress over the coming months.

A huge 'thank you' to Nick, Jules and the incredible horticulture students from @MorayCollege UHI, who gave up their day today to work in the Famous Fochaberians Memorial Gardens. The weather tried its best to stop play - but it was no match for this hardy crew.

Great to see the opening of Huntly's Greenmyres Eco-Bothy. Trustee George McIntyre was delighted to attend Sunday's open day to see some of the opportunities on offer - from walks and cycle rides to pond dipping and paddleboarding. Congratulations to Huntly Development Trust.

Kirkwall's lifeboat is due to undergo major works-extending its life by 25 years. We’re proud to support this @RNLI project which will enable more lives to be saved at sea. A big shout out to the crew– 'ordinary people doing extraordinary things'- who are always ready to respond.

A huge well done to everyone involved in setting up and running the Moray Emergency Relief Fund, as well as to all those who donated. It has been a lifeline to many at a time of real need. 👍
