Hello, not sure who follows me or why, I mostly use this account to follow deal channels. I am disconnecting. I will leave the account up as a fallback on my archiving projects. Those who want to find me know where to look. Bye.
@PLAFantastic Also look for open air cases, you can reuse the al 20x20 to build a DIY printer. I got a bunch of them last year for $9.99 each, raw materiel value around $30 each.
The power cables on these SUCK, toss them and make your own.
@PLAFantastic CPU thermal paste is fine. The heat break is no where near the 300C where it starts to break down at. I use the generic HY510 that I got in a 30g syringe for $8 on ebay.
@PLAFantastic Another good source of 12v PSU, is XBOX 360 power supplies, 150-175 watts, built in fan, power protection, and are often around $15 used on ebay.
@PLAFantastic Great deal, its hard to find them at a good price with one being smaller then the others to account for the wire harness support. Prefect for Ender 3 and Aquila printers
@PLAFantastic No, I DO NOT need another large format printer, I am trying to sell off the Anet 8A Plus, no mater how good of a printer and how modifiable it is.
Damn it.
@fist21@PLAFantastic The company supported software was a key selling point. There are dozens of OK clones out there, but most lack updated software. This one didn't. No WiFi though. easy to add with a $4 dongle.
@PLAFantastic It does not state DRAM amount, so I am assuming it has none. Still a pretty ok deal.
I also recently got a bare new 480GB NVME drive for $32 from amazon
