Raila Odinga is on record saying he could not work with Rigathi Gachagua. That position did not emerge in a vacuum. Rigathi repeatedly showed open contempt and vile disregard towards Raila. His hostility and personal vendetta against Raila and by extension Luos was a product of the many years of ethnic radicalization including secret oathings in Ichaweri. It is therefore deeply hypocritical for Edwin Sifuna to now posture as the custodian of Baba’s political language and ideals while gravitating towards a man Raila himself openly rejected politically. You cannot claim to defend Raila’s legacy while simultaneously normalizing alliances with those who spent years vilifying him and undermining everything ODM stood for. Edwin Sifuna is a passing cloud.

Who knew Osostsi was in Kisumu? Who has the guts to attack a leader like Osotsi in a public space? Why did Sifuna lie saying Osotsi was attacked at a barber shop? Why would Osotsi lie to Sifuna he was attacked at a barber shop? Who was the woman with Osotsi? And what is her connection to this issue? Osotsi's predicament is not political no matter how hard you want to spin it. Let him come out and tell us. Do not drag the mighty ODM into your personal issues. If ODM wanted to attack Osotsi, he would be DEAD.
