@woolworths Hi Woolies, just wanted to point that out when I bought this (pic #1), I wasn’t expecting this (pic #2).

@ashtroid22 We did, obviously! Spent about 10 minutes sitting with it. We’re such suckers for pets ❤️

@ashtroid22 A woman at the beach asked us to watch her dog the other day while she took a quick swim! This was on the grassed area, about 100m from the water.

@ThatKerryHudson My gynae onc had a ‘music room’ filled with fancy furniture and a record player (yes, that’s what they called it). It was where they showed you the invoice (before booking surgery). I like to think the records were playing to drown out the screams from seeing the bill!

At my ENT consultant and they've put me to wait in the 'bad news' room* with calming pictures and a huge box of tissues 😂. I have *a lot* to write at some point about decor & interior in hospitals... *I'm not getting bad news fyi - they just thought I might like the comfy seat.

@Baddiel I know the feeling! I just tell them ‘obviously I’m not going to do these’. I do think about doing them sometimes, and I assume that helps in some way.

Having physiotherapy for a fucked knee presently. As ever the physio did a bit of sports massage and then said "Right now I'll give you some exercises to do at home." At which point I always want to just say, well, go ahead, but I shan't be doing them.

@MelanieTait Once I counted them, and couldn’t believe the extra random loose one makes up the total number!

What, exactly, are manufacturers protecting hair elastics from by making their packaging so impenetrable?!

@KirstyWebeck I have it now (as does my husband), and we seem to be much sicker than our friends who had it earlier. I’m on day 8 and still unwell and testing positive on a RAT 😔

@ashtroid22 We learnt about the Southern Ocean in the 80s/early 90s at school (in Australia of course 😀)

@newberryfruits1 Spell it out. But the first 4 letters are the first 4 letters of the alphabet but in the wrong order, so I think that confuses people!

@lousiekat @Milliganreports @rachnewport @SydneyAirport I was asked to take my thin cardigan off at Perth, and a male passenger asked if he needed to take his bulky jumper off. The security man said no and that I had to take mine off ‘as it opened at the front’. 🤷‍♀️

@Milliganreports @rachnewport @SydneyAirport I had to take off my knitted cardigan at Canberra in Feb for the same reason. Only had a strappy cami underneath. Men & older women went through with bulkier jumpers. Policy seems inconsistently applied. I gave feedback and was told "you could just say no". Could I really?

I’m @SydneyAirport & at new full-body security screening was made to take off fitted business jacket (only had little camisole underneath). Have never had this happen anywhere. Man in front, in big bulky jumper, not made to change. It was embarrassing, uncomfortable, creepy 1/

@Al__Forrest Have you selected 'classic reward flights only' or similar? As opposed to points+pay?

Do people who have booked flights using frequent flyer miles on Qantas ever got it at the number of points predicted by their calculator? Only available flights are minimum of 3x the points quoted by the tool.

@drvyom After an argument, they decided they would allow me to be treated as an individual patient, rather than a couple. Very kind of them! 2/2

@drvyom After I had a hysterectomy due to cancer, I froze eggs in WA. The law here says that you can only make embryos if you have a uterus to put them in. The clinic said my husband also needed a referral - I said it's quite obvious what our infertility issue is! 1/2

Where can I read/hear about women's experiences in Australia with egg freezing? Any good podcast episodes or articles you've come across? Heck, feel free to tell me your thoughts if you just want to vent! (here, or in DMs)
