Gosh this has knocked me sideways a bit. The power and passionate force of Julian Forsyth in The Wicker Husband at @WatermillTh . I swear we could feel the ground rumbling beneath us when he sang this. 💚

We are extremely saddened by the news that Julian Forsyth has passed away. Julian played The Old Basketmaker in our 2022 production of The Wicker Husband. It's difficult to overstate how much we all loved working with Julian on this production. He was a consummate professional, a kind, gentle company member and a wonderful actor. Happy World Theatre Day. Remembering the time I set up a tent in the top floor unused bar at the Apollo, Shaftesbury Avenue during our run of The Go-Between because I live for a little quiet corner to have a nap in between shows. Did the job beautifully. #worldtheatreday
