Paladin has some issues right now that we don't think buffs alone can fix - they likely need new cards. The Bannerman buff is a high confidence change we can make to the class which we believe will make the game more fun, so we did it. There's not much more to it than that! 2/2

I also want to quickly talk about the Bannerman buff.
I think a lot of players incorrectly interpret buffs we make to a class as a signal that we think the buff will fix all of the class's problems. Like we mentioned in the patch notes, that wasn't the goal with this buff. 1/2

Getting a lot of questions about Theotar! Happy to add a bit of context as to why we didn't change him this patch. We definitely talked about him, but decided against changes for a few reasons. The biggest reason is that our focus this patch was on "high confidence changes". 1/3
