🇻🇳 Vietnam’s Deep-Tech Leap: 11 Strategic Technologies Unveiled Approved June 12, 2025 — Decision 1131/QĐ‑TTg A national signal on where innovation, investment, and talent will go next for Viet Nam to “stand on the shoulders of giants”: 🧵

Vietnam is rising. One of my friends just put $100m in a plant there. They built it in 6 months. Like China does. Smart, hard working people. Vietnam will be a mini-China circa 2015. Won’t lead on tech like China but will become a massive exporter powerhouse. Will be interesting in local SE Asia politics as Vietnam becomes a regional superpower.

#Vietnam is quietly launching “Đổi Mới 2.0” — its biggest FDI policy shift since 1986. After decades of focusing mainly on attracting capital and jobs, Hanoi is now pushing foreign investors to deliver real technology transfer, deeper integration with local firms, and higher-value activities. Main Points from Politburo Resolution 10 (June 2026): ▪️Tech Transfer & Localization First Future FDI will be judged on how much advanced technology, R&D, and know-how it actually transfers to Vietnam — not just assembly plants. ▪️From Low-Value Assembly to High-Value Chains Goal: Raise localization rates to 45–50% by 2030 and integrate ~10,000 Vietnamese companies (including 1,000 first-tier suppliers) into global supply chains of multinationals. ▪️Performance-Based Incentives Tax breaks and support will increasingly reward R&D spending, innovation centers, green manufacturing, and genuine technology sharing — not just capital invested. ▪️Stronger Domestic Linkages Foreign firms will face greater pressure to source locally and help upgrade Vietnamese enterprises instead of operating as isolated enclaves. ▪️Strategic Selectivity Vietnam wants more Fortune 500 companies, regional headquarters, and innovation hubs — especially from advanced economies — while being more selective about low-tech, high-pollution projects. Background Context This marks a fundamental mindset change: Vietnam no longer sees FDI as an end in itself, but as a tool to build a more self-reliant, innovation-driven economy. The resolution was discussed at a rare high-level national plenum, reflecting how seriously the leadership is taking this shift amid US-China tensions and the need to move up the value chain. As one analyst put it, this is Vietnam trying to turn foreign investment from a “guest” into a genuine partner in its long-term development.

Michael Hudson is not a “classical economist”, he’s a Trotskyist, the enemy of Marxists michael-hudson.com/2018/08/life-t… Here he talked about his mentor escaping Stalinists who "fear people would find out Soviet Union didn't practice Marxism" youtu.be/r6Ovguv1BSA

even classical economists like michael hudson (who doesn't even identify as a marxist!) know raising min. wage isn't a solution to anything: a competent state strives to make the price of labor & the cost of living as low as possible. income is irrelevant, only purchasing power.

🚨🇺🇸 Empty promises and war сalls: What will former US Senator Lindsey Graham* be remembered for? Lindsey Graham, one of the most hawkish voices in American politics who died on Sunday, was well known for radical rhetoric without limits - with repeated calls for sanctions and military pressure on Russia, Iran and China. 🔸 He openly asked Americans to "send their sons and daughters over to the Middle East" to fight in Iran 🔸 On Ukraine, he famously declared that "the Russians are dying", which was "the best money we've ever spent" - and championed the US minerals deal to secure access to Ukrainian resources 🔸Graham saw no red line in the Gaza war, comparing Israeli destruction of the enclave to the WWII bombing of Berlin and Tokyo Sputnik has collected a record of some of his most extreme statements and compiled them into one video. *Listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia.

DID RUSSIA JUST ELIMINATE WARMONGER LINDSEY GRAHAM IN KIEV? The US Senator who famously called killing Russians "the best investment we ever made" has died at 70 following a "sudden illness" right after his trip to Ukraine. The 48-Hour DEATH TIMELINE is too wild to ignore: 👇 1- Graham meets Zelensky and tours a "hidden" drone manufacturing facility in Kiev. 2- Hours later, the Russian MoD launches a devastating missile attack, completely OBLITERATING that exact factory. 3- Simultaneously, Russian precision missiles leveled a high-profile hotel in Kiev packed with top NATO commanders—where Graham was reportedly staying! 4- Graham instantly "dies suddenly" right after returning home. He wanted to bring "hellish sanctions" to Russia, but it looks like he went straight to hell instead! Did a Russian strike catch him in the drone factory or the NATO hotel, or did someone in Washington send him there knowing the missiles were coming?
