Meet Josiah Saunders, recipient of the Jim Donovan Courage Award presented by @ClevelandClinic Sports Medicine. 🏈 Josiah, a senior cornerback/safety on the Avon High School (@AvonLocalSch) football team, defied the odds in recovering from a catastrophic knee injury and returning to varsity play in September 2024. After suffering multiple ligament knee injuries – including tears to the ACL, PCL, and LCL – during a game on Sept. 23, 2023, Josiah's recovery has been a testament to his resilience and determination.  Josiah will receive the award at the 25th #CLESportsAwards on Feb. 6, 2025, at @RMFieldHouse.
