This is how to identify stolen vehicles through official channels before making purchase (part one)... Before you pay, do these 3 verification steps: Log onto the Nigeria Police Central Motor Registry (CMRIS) portal to request a vehicle status report. If the car has been officially reported stolen, it flags here and a contact inside the force helps speed up. If the car has been registered in Nigeria before, the Federal Road Safety Corps has the data. Use the Chassis Number (VIN) & last owner's name to check. A contact in the FRSC can quickly pull the system backend to verify it's legit. Forged customs papers are everywhere most of the time it doesn't match the vehicle you want to purchase. Take the Single Goods Declaration (SGD) form to the nearest Customs Federal Operations Unit (FOU). Check if the duty was genuinely paid and if the VIN matches their system. The best thing you can do is to have someone on the inside to fast track it within minutes. Bottom line is always leverage trusted insiders to run these background checks before handing over your hard earned money.

A thief claiming to be a car dealer from Port Harcourt brought a stolen 2014 Toyota Hilux for sale to my colleague's car stand as a distress Sale. After doing what I know how to do best,I contacted the real owner to confirm if he had approved the Hilux to be sold. Only to discover the vehicle was stolen since November last year, so the owner connected me with his friends at FCT STATE CID and made sure we detained the the guy without his knowledge and was later apprehended and taken into their custody with the vehicle and I gained a high level client that day.

@WeAreEFEM Mate, your posts help me so much that my saves are 200% better with your suggestions. I'm currently managing Inter with a much more limited budget than the english teams. Could you recommend GKs, DCs, WBs, DMs, CMs and DLF for a 3-5-2 formation? Thanks!

RED FLAGS to look out for when purchasing a Nigerian used vehicle. Check the vin plate on the driver’s side dashboard through the windshield and the door jamb sticker must match the chassis number stamped on the engine firewall or under the passenger seat. If they don't match the vehicle was cloned or stolen. Never accept photocopies of the Proof of Ownership or Allocation of Number Plate documents. If the name on the papers doesn't match the seller's government ID, walk away unless they have a legally binding, signed power of attorney. If a car has clearly been driven in Nigeria for years but suddenly spots a brand new freshly issued number plate and pristine documents with zero history of previous owners, be careful. The car's identity may have been wiped to cover up a theft or the owner is dubious. If the dealer insists you must close the deal immediately or refuses to let you bring your own mechanic diagnostic specialist to inspect the car at a neutral location walk away. A legit seller has nothing to hide.

These 4 stocks have returned over 50% YTD. 1. MTN Nigeria (+79%).. It’s the biggest telecoms company and earnings-driven. As long as Nigerians use smartphones and buys data, MTN will continue printing money. 2. Zenith Bank (+50%).. Healthy dividend and benefiting from lower interest rates. This is the stock that lets you sleep well. Stability + income. 3. GTCO (+53%).. Why? Extended capacity. Hedged forex risk. Expanded to London exchange. This is management that plans. When management plans, you sleep. Your investment works while you sleep. 4. BUA Cement (+120%).. Infrastructure never stops in Nigeria. Every road, school, hospital needs cement. Commodity play backed by real demand. It pays dividends too. If you are still wondering which stocks to buy, I added the exact framework I use to identify stocks like these, value them properly, and build a portfolio that compounds in my 5k to Wealth E-book. I would like you all to know how to buy ETFs: 1. Open a brokerage account 2. Fund the account 3. Search for the ETF you want (example: S&P 500 ETF) 4. Check the fees. Lower fees are better long term 5. Buy your shares 6. Hold and stay consistent ETFs are one of the simplest ways to invest because they give you exposure to multiple companies at once instead of relying on a single stock. You do not need to start big, just need to start wisely and consistently.

Nigerian Investors… Did You Know This? There’s a hidden protection system in the Nigerian stock market called the 10% Rule No matter how hot a stock is: A stock generally cannot rise more than 10% in one trading day
A stock generally cannot fall more than 10% in one trading day Example: If a stock closes today at ₦100: Highest it may trade tomorrow ≈ ₦110
Lowest it may trade tomorrow ≈ ₦90 Why does this exist? 🤔 To reduce:
• Panic selling
• Market manipulation
• Extreme volatility
• Emotional trading So even if:
A company releases amazing earnings
Or terrible news hits the market There are still limits designed to protect investors. Most beginners in the Nigerian market don’t know this. Smart investors understand the rules before chasing profits.

Dividend season is still active in the Nigerian stock market and some companies are yet to close qualification dates. Meaning: if you buy before the qualification date, you may still receive dividends. Some notable ones: • Beta Glass Qualification date: June 3 Dividend: ₦7.20/share Payment date: June 25 • Dangote Cement Qualification date: June 17 Dividend: ₦45/share Payment date: July 2 • Julius Berger Qualification date: May 29 Payment date: June 19 • May & Baker Qualification date: May 19 Dividend: ₦0.12/share Payment date: June 4 • BUA Foods Qualification date: June 4 Dividend: ₦28/share Payment date: July 15 • UAC Nigeria Qualification date: June 11 Dividend: ₦1/share Payment date: June 26 Important: Buying after the qualification date means you will likely not receive the dividend. Also remember that A high dividend does not automatically mean a good investment. Always check the company’s fundamentals, earnings, and long term outlook before buying any stock.

If you earn a salary and want to start investing on the NGX, here's how I'd build a starter portfolio: → Emergency fund first — 3 months expenses in money market (16.57% p.a. on Cowrywise) → Then: GTCO + UBA + ZENITH for dividends → Add growth: MTNN, NASCON, ARADEL → SIP monthly — even ₦10K compounds over time The goal isn't to get rich fast. It's to stop being poor slowly.

4 Habits That Separate Serious NGX Players 1. Invest the same small amount every single month no matter what 2.Spend more time studying businesses than watching prices 3. Review the entire portfolio only 3–4 times a year 4. Treat every naira invested as buying part-ownership in a real company

🚨Oliver Glasner just delivered one of the coldest press conference responses of the season Reporter asked him about the title race and whether Palace could influence it… Glasner replied: “I checked my pay slips… I didn’t get any money from Arsenal or City.” Then he finished with THIS: “Our influence in the title race is definitely less than VAR.”

Most retail investors on the Nigerian stock market still don’t understand two of the most important trading tools: Order Books and Limit Orders. But once you understand them, you stop trading blindly. First: What is an Order Book? Think of it as a live x ray of the market. It shows: • The prices buyers are willing to pay • The prices sellers are willing to accept • The number of shares available at each price Example: You see a stock quoted at ₦448.50. But when you open the Order Book, the closest seller is actually offering shares at ₦500. That means if you want your order filled immediately, you may end up buying closer to ₦500, not ₦448.50. This is because the stock market is a real market. For you to buy, somebody else has to be willing to sell at that price. Now, what is a Limit Order? A Limit Order lets you tell the market: “I’ll only buy this stock at this price or better.” Instead of your trade failing immediately when prices move, your order stays active throughout the trading day waiting for your preferred price. It gives you more control over your entry and exit prices instead of accepting whatever price the market throws at you. Follow this account to get smarter financially.
