Aviation students had a busy day installing and torquing new spark plugs on a Lycoming 0-290 D2 engine!

We are proud of Dylan Russell, our next #GtechHasbeen spotlight! After GTECH, Dylan quickly completed his short certificate in welding at Wallace Community College . He is now welding at Cook’s Saw. Great job Dylan!

February is Career and Technical Education month! We will be spotlighting past students and their successes throughout the month. Morgan Brown is a pre-vet student majoring in animal science at the University of Florida. Great job Morgan!

Josh and Elijah, first year Automotive students, are disassembling and component testing an electric starter! These guys will be #workforceready soon!

Andrew Byrd is the first GTECH student to successfully build a parallel circuit including a switch, resistors, and diodes properly soldered! These students are on the way to being #workforceready

Our second year Health Science students are excited to have achieved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification! These #lifesavers are trained to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies and give high quality chest compressions. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our 3rd shift Health Science Employee of the Quarter: Ellie Rea! Ellie’s favorite things about GTECH are her awesome instructor, Mrs. White, meeting people from different schools, and learning things that she genuinely enjoys!
