For me it was finding in my mid 20s that EU4 was a basically stupid game that soon plays identically whether you start as Bremen or the Ottomans. FPS peaked with Halflife, CS & Deus Ex 25 years ago and will never be surpassed due to industry since catering to the world's stoners.

@bokoen1 I think while the Start of 1936 is good, Operation Unthinkable and 1946 Stuff could be interesting. So 1936-1949/1950 would be fine for me.

I’m starting to see people talk about what they want from Hoi5 whenever it comes out. One of the big ones I keep seeing is “extend the timeline to 1930-1950”.
Please dear god do NOT let this happen. The extended time sucks in EU5 and it’ll suck if it happens in hoi5.
