I think part of the reason why so many Gen Z rock acts choose genres like shoegaze, nu metal, and emo is because those were genres discarded by the Gen X/millennial intelligentsia as unworthy of conderation. The youth saw something there their elders predecessors didn't.

During the 1960s, producer David F. Friedman’s ongoing quest to elevate the quality of sexploitation production led to numerous period pieces and costume comedies. Among his most lavish such efforts were THE LUSTFUL TURK (1968) and THE JOYS OF JEZEBEL (1969), both newly restored in 4K from their 35mm original camera negatives and on Blu-ray for the very first time from Something Weird Video + @Distribpix Inc.
