GT Housing ADVISORY Board met last Wed. Needs direction from City Council and not receiving it. ? now becomes - do we dissolve or not?

PS - ADVISORY Board is different than my AUTHORITY board. Tried to get them to change the name to avoid confusion, but no go. owell! :-)

www.HousingWorksAustin.org hosts affordable housing tour & reception 6/10 at Long Center (Austin) - can't wait 2 visit innovative projects.

Housing tour yesterday was awesome! Saw houses, apts, lofts, and all were "affordable". All beautiful - no one would know was "affordable".

ED Naomi Walker submitted resignation from Housing Authority eff. 9/30/09. I will miss you all, but plan to stay in aff. housing, if poss.

Also, GHA and others in WILCO awarded over 2mil in grant funds to buy foreclosed homes, rehab them and rent to families below 50% AMI. Yay!
