Lack of exercise and a poor diet the 2 main causes of an increase of 25% in cancer diagnosis amongst the under 50s since the 90s. A shocking finding. However, something that is avoidable with some simple lifestyle changes! Go to Livewell for support: livewellpeopleplace.com/about/
Good Morning Britain@GMB

More young adults are getting cancer than ever before with cases rising twice as fast among under 50s than in the elderly. New analysis from Cancer Research suggests the surge could be linked to harmful gut bacteria and chronic inflammation caused by a shift in diet.

Superb evening last night as our partnership with @LangsideSC continued. The group had perfect weather for their first game of 11-a-side football. Great game ending in a 2-2 draw and a really good performance.

@IndyIsNormal @pieandbov Gilmour needs to be in a Scotland team to at least give us a chance of looking like a decent team. Why he wasn’t a starter last nyt I don’t know.

@pieandbov I just kept wondering where the team that dominated and beat Spain, and dominated the Dutch for 70 mins, had gone? They can actually play football. But they didn’t show even a flicker of that last night.

Overall feeling the morning after is just one of huge disappointment. A result against the hosts always looked a stretch, but I expected us to at least be competitive and make them work for it. Losing the early goal obviously ripped up any plan to frustrate the home side but we had started so poorly and we didn’t even see any sort of reaction from that, just more of the same. We were so careless with the limited possession we had, and never really pressed the Germans when they had it, allowing them to pick us apart at will. Wouldn’t give pass marks to a single player to be honest, but I did feel a bit for Adams who got 45 mins of watching the ball sail over his head. The Germans looked decent and had some incredible players sat on the bench highlighting the gulf in class we were dealing with but let’s not kid ourselves, if we put in a performance as limp as that against either Switzerland or Hungary then they will both beat us too. Hopefully we’ll see a completely different Scotland on Wednesday night. We need to.

2 days to go! If you can help us get to our fundraising target with a last big push, we would be sooooo grateful! They’ve posted an update on how they're feeling now that the event is so close. In short, Joe's feeling fine, David is feeling...less fine. justgiving.com/crowdfunding/d…

Its so important we keep carers in our thoughts. The work they do is forgotten at times, however the contribution they make has such a positive impact on so many lives! Carers Week | Carers Scotland (carersuk.org)

The ending of the Bute House agreement is a huge opportunity for the SNP to reset our agenda in government. Out with identity politics & virtue signalling. In with policies to tackle the bread & butter issues that our constituents bring up on the doorsteps.

Hall of Fame boxer Sugar Ray Robinson once backed out of a fight because he had a dream he was going to kill his opponent in the ring. However, after being convinced by a priest, he agreed to fight. He knocked Jimmy Doyle out cold, who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead the next day. After Jimmy Doyle's death, Robinson found out about how Doyle wanted to use the money earned in the fight to buy his mother a home. So Robinson saved the money from his next four fights to buy Doyle's mom a house.
