💙 Rangers Hall of Fame Inductee Bobby Brown was born on this day in 1923. 🛡️ Bobby was the last line in the famous Iron Curtain defence and was undoubtedly a fantastic player for the club both in terms of consistency of appearance and performance. 🧤 He missed only one league match in six years and played in 179 consecutive matches during a successful period for Rangers. Brown achieved 109 clean sheets during his 296 appearances for the Gers. Always Remembered.

Plaque presented to players of Rangers Fc from arsenal Fc on the occasion of the floodlight match 1951. This one was presented to Rangers goalkeeper Bobby brown and is in my probate museum. One also hangs in the official rangers museum see pictures below

Yesterday I added Bobby browns medal collection to my private collection. Bobby brown played for Glasgow Rangers between 1946-1956 making over 200 appearances. Was later manager of Scotland fc. Rare victory cup medal to celebrate end of war. Also the triple league medal 🥇

💙 The Bobby Brown Collection. Yesterday, seen Mr Brown’s personal collection go under the hammer at @McTears. One lot contained three large folders and a collection of newspaper clippings. With an original estimate of £20-40, these eventually sold for £14,000! 🤯
