My experience with FSD (Supervised) so far:
- 94% of my drives are handled by the car
- Nearly all miles driven autonomously over the past 8 days
- Performs especially well on familiar routes
- Smoother driving, less stress
- Confident even in busy traffic
- I stay attentive and ready to take over at all times
- I’m part of early access
What stands out:
- Smooth handling in turns and merges
- Clean and precise parking and stopping
My conclusion:
FSD is progressing fast and already feels strong in daily use.

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.
Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer.
Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to:
– 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads
– 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs
– 4,500+ track test scenario executions
– Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements
– Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results
We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point.
We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

My feeling says that Tesla will announce today or tomorrow when Grok is coming to the Netherlands in Tesla vehicles, and to other countries that don’t have Grok yet. What do you think about this?

Grok speaks many languages 🇮🇹🇩🇪🇫🇷🇵🇹🇪🇸 It can answer your questions using real-time info, handle navigation (like adding stops or editing your route) & suggest points of interest nearby

Zijn er mensen in Nederland met hw4 die wel updates krijgen? Het lijkt erop dat die in hold staan en alleen hw3 updates krijgt. Heb het vermoeden dat dat iets met FSD beslissing te maken heeft.

I just got back from a 4 hour demo drive in a new Tesla Model Y Premium and I’m still kind of buzzing. I've watched the videos. I’ve read the stories. I thought I understood what FSD was. I did not, not even close! Because when you’re actually in it and you let it do its thing, it’s not a “cool feature.” It feels like you just stepped a few years into the future! I tried everything. FSD, regen braking, the acceleration, Summon, self parking, super charging and switching between driving and FSD on the fly. And man… FSD was the part that messed with my brain in the best way! It handled city streets like a pro! It rolled through parking lots, found spots, and self parked. It went right through construction zones with workers out there directing traffic with flags, and it just… did the right thing. Smooth, not sketchy at all! I kept waiting for the moment I’d have to grab the wheel and save it. I never had to take over! Didn't even have one moment where I felt like I might need to! Then the built in Grok planned a scenic route that was actually fun, not just “fastest route” boring. And while it was driving, I played with Grok in Assistant mode and Unhinged mode and I’m not gonna lie, I was laughing out loud because it felt like having a smart, slightly chaotic co pilot that still stays useful. Regen braking was another shock. It takes like five minutes and your brain clicks and you start thinking, why does every car not feel like this? The acceleration is stupid quick! Summon was straight up wild to see in person! Watching that car drive through the parking lot to meet me with no one on board was crazy! I’m telling you, experiencing it is completely different than hearing about it! If you’ve been on the fence, go do a demo drive. Give it time. Try it on real streets, real parking lots, real situations. Because after today, I get it! I’m ready to buy.. NOW! What do you want to try most, FSD, regen braking, Summon, or just feeling that acceleration? @elonmusk - this is truly the future! I am amazed!
