In 2014 my girlfriend at that time was schooling in Abia poly.
I was a loving BF. I was literarily sponsoring this babe in school. Because we started dating before she gained admission and when she got addmited she told me she can't go because she was not financially ready so i took it upon myself that i would see her through besides she is the woman i want to marry and i was too sure she loved me to death.
First year all was good we would be on call for hours, i would solve assignments and explain topics not in my field.
I would speak to her and her friends and send money for airtime and snacks. I became known as our boyfriend by her room mate.
Then she came to spend her 4 months IT with me. 2 months in i noticed her calls i asked her about it, but she dismissed it as just a coursemate and she cannot stoop so low as to date her coursemate nah, my guy i believed her ooo.(Naive me).
School resumed and she left. Two months in and things began to change, she began to miss my calls and forget to return them, sometimes they would go days without light in their area( but her room mate would have charge oo),she has assignment or test and she needs to study. You can imagine all sorts of excuses. Even when we talk it became dull suddenly there is nothing to talk about and when we have something its the money i promised or how much sshe needs and all her school problems.
Sometimes i would call and call for days no response from her and since i had the room mates number i would call her and she would tell me one story or another. At some point the room mate moved out and told me they are no longer together. I actually believed she lied so i could stop calling her, but i would call her during school hours since they are coursemates just to speak with my GF.
This continued for months i was tired and confused.
One day i called the friend and appealed to her conscience ,relayed all my concerns and fears to her, she listened carefully and tried to comforted me and promised to speak with her.
Few weeks later she called me and told me to brace up for what she wants to tell me.
Omo this babe narrated everything to me oo all my GFs doings and how she would not sleep at home for days when they where still together and how my GF was spending my money on her schooll BF. Bro my legs and hands where shaking i could not breath, i could barely hold my phone and my body became hot instantly. Guy the babe aand i spoke for 2 hours she told me how she had been fighting for me all the while and it was what led to her leaving the house because she reported to her mum and the mum adviced her to leave as my GF is not someone she can trust.
I confronted my woman and she couldn't deny it as the evidences where overwhelming.
That was the last day she heard from me. I grew up instantly and transitioned from a boy to a man.
