one reason this “talk to AI Jesus” thing has emerged is because we’ve fallen into an age of instant gratification & 40 second attention spans. No one wants to sit & listen for an answer to prayer, they want AI god to tell them “do this, do that.”

also no one wants to develop the faculties that enable one to have a relationship with God in the first place. You won’t get an answer to prayer if you’re in open animosity w/ a brother (Matt. 5:24) or in a state of evil (John 9:31) so why not bypass all of that after all
