@Furezuu_ @_takeajoke again they do it bc it causes the kitten to go limp and makes transporting them easier. ive studied veterinary nursing and animal welfare for the last three years i promise its not comfortable for any cat to have a bundle of nerves grabbed and their ability to move taken away

it's how their bodies work and it doesn't hurt them

@_takeajoke vets do it because it causes them to go limp which makes administering care easier but i definitely would not do it regularly! its best to hold him with one hand under his chest and one supporting his back legs if you're able :)
