@getseline is big for the brand. Out of all the new produts we tried this year, Seline is one of the best. Simple and we actually use it. Plus, their branding is fantastic. Even more impressive is they were built by a small team!

it’s been a year since i started bootstrapping seline and posting on X $800 mrr, $8.5k total volume, 63 customers ever paid, haven’t had a month without a new sub. lucky got 3 serious acquisition offers, 2 by companies you all know and love seline website was ever seen by only ~45k people in total 0 → 1180 followers on X, although i don’t really post. can’t force myself to play the content game, at least for now. feels shallow made amazing connections here and with awesome people using seline. “if you do your work truly and conscientiously, unknown friends will come and seek you” hits hard we have 4 clients each tracking 1mil+ events monthly bought seline com for $15,000k but new domain not ranking well after 4+ months after migration. seo is in the ass. owning the domain feels great though trying marketing moves within my budget, some work some don’t. not comfortable with sharing much about that publicly as everything gets copied quick analytics is basically back-end, back-end and a 100 times more back-end. bot traffic filtering and optimizations. and now seline has grown into a pretty mature analytics tool i’m proud of added tons of new features and improvements but managed to keep it simple still here, still grinding, year 2 let's go

if AI is the future of analytics, we’ve just laid our first brick chat with AI is now live at @getseline huge thanks to @vercel @rauchg for Vercel AI SDK. the thing is a beast. can’t even imagine creating a chat interface without it now 🙏 we didn't want to simply slap AI on to Seline just for the sake of it, but it became clear that the value is already here. by far it's not perfect, but it can: - help with our docs/installation - help creating funnels - aggregate events to answer your questions, like "what are our busiest hours" or "how well our blog converts" - help filtering your dashboard - knows your site (thx @firecrawl) and can suggest custom events tracking - generate visitor insights - spit out data in csv format we’ve had non tech-savvy founders using it almost daily while in closed beta, at times for actions that our UI *already* allows doing, like advanced filtering. which means it helps, especially for those new to analytics.
