In 2026, views are the dumbest metric you can chase. Track revenue. Not views. Especially if you run a business on YouTube. The creators still flexing subscriber counts are losing to the creators who can tell you exactly how many discovery calls a single video booked last month. A 1,728-view video that books 11 discovery calls for a 10,000 dollars offer is worth more than a 100,000-view video that does nothing. Most creators have never measured this. That ends in 2026. Here is the part most people get wrong. They tell you to "make targeted content for conversions." That is not the play. The play is to make content people actually want to watch, then track which of those videos converts. The two are different jobs. You cannot collapse them into one. Because the video you think is your worst is often your best. We see this on almost every YtubeViews client we audit. The video that hit 50K views feels like a win. The video buried at 5K views with no comments is the one that booked most of last month's pipeline. But the poin is that If you are not tracking which video drives which revenue, you are blind. You will keep making more of the wrong content. You will keep retiring the videos that actually pay you. You will spend a year scaling the worst version of your channel. You should use a tracking software like @gettrakyo in all your videos. It tracks revenue attribution per YouTube video. Every booked call, every signed client, every dollar pinned to the video that drove it. Without it, you guess. With it, every decision compounds. Make content that gets watched. Track which content actually converts. Make more of whatever moves money. The order matters. Most creators are still chasing views or chasing "conversion-only" videos. Both lose. The creators who watch their attribution dashboard win the next 5 years. In 2026, your job is not to make the algorithm happy. Your job is to find which 3 of your 12 videos last quarter drove all the revenue and ship 12 more of those next quarter. Track revenue. Not views.
