Creating this concept was no easy task. Bringing Ebon to live action and translating his look and powers was definitely a challenge, but I think I stayed faithful to what the fans remember from the animated series, with some added elements from his comic appearance. Reading Khleo’s post and hearing where his motivation was coming from, there was nothing holding me back from going all in on this. @khleothomas Pain into power. Story into purpose. *Make sure to check the last image, saved something special for the fans.🦇 This was definitely a challenge… being able to translate this iconic Batsuit into live action. We’ve seen cosplay attempts and even video game versions with buyable skins, but they never really captured the same feeling we got watching this suit in the animated series. My approach, and the only thing that really made sense, was treating the suit like it’s made of nanotech. When worn, it closely molds itself over the actor’s features. I also wanted a shot showing the suit taking damage, revealing the actor inside the cowl to make it feel as real as possible. This was heavily inspired by Anakin in the Darth Vader helmet. Also, having the mouth open and allowing for actual expression was a big part of this build, instead of it just looking like a static face. More than anything, I just really wanted to stay as true to the animated suit as possible while making it believable in live action, and I think this gives a pretty solid idea of what that could actually look like if done right. The actor in the suit is David Gridley, who I’ve always felt is the spitting image of Terry McGinnis. David is currently in the Scrubs revival if you want to see more of his work. What they’ve done with that series shows true commitment and appreciation for the fans. I really enjoyed working on this and hope you like the end results. Would love to hear your feedback.🗡️

Bat-Mite is basically Batman’s biggest fan from another dimension. Someone obsessed with the character and the world around him. @ThatKevinSmith has spent his entire career celebrating comics and showing his love for Batman and that world, so fan casting him here just felt like the perfect fit.

Bringing Wildcat into live action without it feeling like a joke was no easy task. Finding the balance between grounded and true to the character took some work, but I’m proud of where it landed. And if this ever happens on screen, Alan Ritchson would be a perfect fit for the role. 🐾🥊🗡️
