Shout out 🗣️Happy Counselor’s week to our counselor Mr. Johnson! Cool, calm and all about making sure both the students & staff are ok! He is definitely one of the keys to ADAPT’s success!

Congratulations to the ADAPT campus’s Teacher of the Year, Paraprofessional of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year! ADAPT is a very unique campus and Mrs. Garcia, Ms. Peterson & Mr. Clore were recognized, by a very good staff, as outstanding!

Had an opportunity this morning to be out in our community participating in the city of Iowa Colony’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade w/ the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Also had a chance to see some of my SLE family.☀️💙💛 ~The possibilities of fulfilling the Dream

I saw the balloons in my office today and thought someone was playing a joke! (I’m not 75 or 57) She isn’t 57 either. We do celebrate Ms. Stable’s 57 STUDENTS who were published in the Young Writers publication! I challenged her, she challenged them, they accepted! Her 3rd time.

They already know the what & the why it happened. We aim to shape or reshape the “how” to handle the this or that moment moving forward. It starts with “you are” more than “you are not”! Our staff wants them to see it at every turn.

Welcome back! The first day is always filled with a certain excitement and energy! As best we can, leaders want to bottle it up and save some for the long school year! Today was a loose, laugh and learn kind of day. 2025 -2026 school year has begun!

As Counselor Appreciation Week comes to an end, I would like to thank all the wonderful school counselors working with students! A special shot out to our counselor Mr. Johnson who shows up everyday to do what’s needed for our students!
